Render by Mesh Drive

General

Mesh Drive is a procedural method can drive a large amount of maya polygon meshes without save the data on the hard disk.

We export a small cache which contain the character joint data, and then, use it dynamically generate and drive Maya polygon meshes.

Substantially, since we're driving real polygons existed in Maya scene, so it supports all renderers.


Advantage

Support All renderer, very easy and straight forward to use, and it is very convenient to edit, like hide, smooth, re-assign shaders.


Limitation

Mesh Drive Method is memory consuming, so it can only render 5000 agents or less. (this number might be bigger if your workstation are powerful)
