Arnold and Shave Fur

We can use Arnold ".ass" render standin to create and render crowd fur (or other simulation contents).

 

1.    Make Agent Cache and Character Cache, and then make your scene can be playback interactively.

If you not familiar with 2 types of cache, please refer (086 Single Character Cache Video Tutorials)

 

2.    Create your fur on the Original Agent. (Shave)

 

3.    Make sure your character cache is OK to use and enable it

 

4.    Specify export parameters (in Miarmy Tools > Character Cache Tab, or Gear Icon). Then, select the fur you want to export, and hit Export button

Notice: Please try to save your file before exporting

fill the agent range and the export folder

 

The exported files will be like image above in your export directory

 

5.    Hit Import and the render contents will be import into your scene.

 

6.    Render it directly with Arnold.
