Arnold Render Farm Setup

Miarmy Installation

The render farm machine don't need to install Miarmy if you're going to render with Arnold Procedural



Textures

All textures associated to the Maya scene file should be copied from local machine and put on to the server machine with exactly the same paths.

These paths should be read from Maya “file” node and/or Arnold shader texture nodes.

Note: we can skip this step if these textures are already on server.



Shader Holder (Optional)

If we didn't eanble Export Shader to ASS in previous step, we need to bring all shader holders from previous scene to render scene, and make sure the shader name has no any changes.



Render Contents

The exported render contents on local machine have to be copied to server with the exactly the same path.

In Maya, for example output folder is: “G:\abc\artest

Please copy the entire "artest" folder in the "G:\abc" to render farm


Above example: there is 1 folder in export path, copy "artest" entirely to render farm
